Basic Life Support
(BLS)
We have an updated BLS course that includes the science and education for CPR and ECC from the 2015 Guidelines Update. In this course, our students will learn basic life support skills for single and team rescues in hospital environments. You will be able to participate in learning stations, simulated clinical scenarios, and a written exam. Students will also complete BLS skills practice and testing.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
This is an advance course that recognizes the importance of working as a team. Students will be taught appropriate communication skills, systematic approach of care, and immediate post-cardiac arrest care. These are taught in case-based scenarios in small or large group sessions.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
This course aims to teach the necessary skills to provide high-quality care to children who are injured and severely ill to improve their conditions. This is a classroom and video-based course with an instructor to teach students how to save the children’s lives. Simulated pediatric emergencies enable them to learn vital concepts such as basic life support, effective resuscitation, PALS treatment algorithm, team dynamics, and a systematic approach to pediatric assessment.
Heartsaver First Aid
CPR AED
This is a classroom and video-based course with an instructor to teach critical skills for emergency situations. Students will learn how to respond to and manage first aid, choking, or sudden cardiac arrest incident right away until emergency medical services arrive. As a student, you will learn first aid emergency treatments, as well as adult CPR and AED use.
